High Octane Hits the Road: Tour De Texas Takeover Recap

Everything’s bigger in Texas—including the love for High Octane Lemonade. We touched down in Dallas on Sunday, July 13th, for our first-ever Texas tour, and what a ride it’s been! From city lights to country bars, arcades to ocean breezes, the Lone Star State gave us a week to remember.

Dallas: The Starting Line

We kicked things off strong with a stop at Gas Monkey Bar & Grill—because if any spot needs High Octane on their menu, it’s one with a name like that. (C’mon, it’s fate.) Huge shoutout to Jess, our bartender, who pointed us toward Grandscape and Andretti’s Arcade, where Connect 4 Hoops became our new obsession.

Monday: Hitting Pavement

We linked up with John Graves and hit the ground running. By the end of the day, we had secured 4 new locations across Dallas, Irving, and Victory Park. The energy? Immaculate. The interest in HOL? Off the charts.

Tuesday: Arlington to Denton

The hustle continued with Troy Whitney. We brought in another 4 locations across Arlington, Kennedale, and Denton. Midday we dropped into Total Wine & More for an impromptu sampling—and let’s just say, Texas likes to party.

Wednesday–Thursday: Austin Bound

Midweek we cruised down to Austin to meet with Jamie Carley, where we added 6 new accounts from Round Rock to downtown Austin. That evening, we hopped aboard a sunset cruise on Lake Austin, chilled with some locals, and of course introduced them to HOL. The verdict? Loved it.

Our favorite stop? San Jac Saloon—Bartender Brian knows what’s up.

Friday: Houston or Bust

Texas road trip rule #1: Stop at Buc-ee’s. We did. Mind blown.

Then we rolled into Texas City for a sampling event at Diamond Liquorour first-ever Texas liquor store to carry HOL! It was a “Meet the Makers” event with Adam Folden, and HOL sold out in 45 minutes. Big love to Benny, the owner—his operation is dialed in.

Later that day, we hit Sammy G’s District 70 in League City, the first bar in Texas to serve HOL. We even met Sammy, a retired firefighter. His spot is one of only three bars on Clear Lake you can access by car or boat. Respect.

Saturday: Galveston Grind

Our final off-premise day took us to Galveston for another sampling event with Adam, this time at Economy Liquor. Huge thanks to Troy, the owner, for the warm welcome and excitement. After work, we let loose a bit—dinner at Jo Lee’s(fried everything), then we hit the Kemah Boardwalk just in time to ride the rollercoaster before closing.

Sunday: Space + Seafood

We wrapped things up tourist-style at the Houston Space Center—100% recommend the tram tour. Dinner? Sam’s Boat served up broiled oysters with shrimp, jalapeños, and bacon, plus a massive crab boil. Let’s just say we didn’t leave hungry.

Texas, you brought the heat—and we brought the High Octane Lemonade. Until next time, y’all.
